We opted for a tiny farm committed to quality and tradition when growing, harvesting, and preparing LAKA Matcha™. Our growers still do a lot by hand, strengthening the farmer-plant connection and true regenerative quality of our farm.
Region

We chose the pristine, clean region of Wazuka, Japan to source our matcha. Here, radioactivity is not an issue and the rolling landscape is a cornucopia of nutrient overflow for the tencha plant.
Soil + air quality

Air pollutants and depleted soil hinder the full potential of earth's most powerful superfoods. We chose our particular region because the quality of the environment allows for the plants to thrive the way they were designed to.
